Chirag के अंदर disappointment, but उसने bargain नहीं किया. “Received.”

अगले दिन उसने surprise clinic visit नहीं किया. Courier से एक छोटा sealed jalebi box भेजना भी नहीं—Mehak ने workplace food policy बताया था. उसने बस photo भेजी. Romance कभी-कभी restraint था.

Material outstanding zero. Labour paid. Garage cost paid. Travel recovered. Service reserve. Household contribution modest. Personal margin.
Pushpa ने household contribution लेने से पहले पूछा, “Next material?”
“Advance order पर. Is amount se debt नहीं.”
“Tumhara personal?”
“Shoes नहीं खरीद रहे.”
“Proposal के लिए polish old shoes कर लेना,” Pushpa casually बोलीं.
Chirag ने उन्हें देखा. “Marriage talk pause.”
“Hum date नहीं बोल रहे. Polish कभी waste?”
दोनों हँसे. Promotion lie ka bruise पूरी तरह gone नहीं, पर mother-son conversation अब wish को fact नहीं बना रही थी.
Panditji ने worker dues update दिया: partial wage tranche expected, confirmed letter. Chirag का old employment claim भी आगे बढ़ रहा था. New earning ने old dues cancel नहीं.
“जब पैसा आए,” Panditji बोले, “उसको bonus मत समझना.”
“Due है.”
“ठीक.”
Mishra ji ने phone पर पूछा अगर second batch मिले तो वह fitment check part-time कर सकते. Chirag ने yes कहने से पहले rate discuss किया. Former senior अब collaborator possibility. Hierarchy shift हुई, respect नहीं.

Ashok sahib का repeat-order email finally आया—quotation for eight guides, two different machine models, delivery ten days. It was request, purchase order नहीं.
Chirag ने dimensions unknown होने पर same price blindly नहीं दिया. “Second model measure required. Quote after visit.”
Ashok annoyed: “Similar machine.”
“Similar clearance risk. Permanent promise नहीं.”
Measurement में older table bolt spacing different. Universal slot length बढ़ाने से bracket flex risk. Chirag ने two variants propose kiye, shared components same. Quote next day.
Ashok ने कहा, “Expensive.”
Chirag ने defect/rework saving data Sana से official channel through माँगा. Sana ने manager approval के बाद aggregate भेजा. Bargaining फिर हुई. Purchase order next chapter की चीज थी; इस chapter में सिर्फ credible pipeline.
Chirag ने notebook में लिखा: INTEREST IS NOT ORDER.
नीचे: ORDER IS NOT PAYMENT.
और: PAYMENT IS NOT PROFIT.
Rinku ने पढ़ा. “बहुत negative.”
“Accurate.”
“WhatsApp status बना दें?”
“Copyright charge लगेगा.”
काफी दिनों बाद Chirag खुद अपने joke पर खुलकर हँसा.

No patent speech, no press, no overnight industrial circles. Just name, revision number और five serial marks.
First invoice paid होने के बाद उसने locked factory gate visit किया. Notice faded. Reopening update none. उसने gate को thank you नहीं कहा; suffering को teacher romantic बनाना उसे wrong लगा.
Mishra ji nearby tea पर मिले. Device photo देखा.
“Bracket radius अच्छा,” उन्होंने कहा. “Lock washer कमजोर लग रहा.”
“Rev two में बदला.”
“Order?”
“Five paid. शायद more.”
“शायद को शायद ही बोलना.”
“Haan.”
Chirag ने उन्हें tea दी. Former job अभी dues owed. New work अभी fragile. बीच में खड़ा था, success poster नहीं.
Sameer का message: “Month operating positive. Debt बाकी.”
Sana: “No miracle language.”
Mehak: “Celebration allowed.”
Chirag ने group में invoice payment screenshot नहीं, jalebi photo भेजा. Caption:
FIVE UNITS. ONE HUNDRED GRAM. HISAAB BARABAR.
Zafar Chacha reply: “Chai udhaar नहीं.”
जवाब आया: “अब udhaar माँगा किसने, Chacha?”
पहली कमाई proof थी, rescue नहीं.
और इस बार proof के साथ receipt भी थी.
