Zero Gravity Tea
Visual Storyboard, Shot Blueprint & Cinematography Guide
This storyboard is designed as an easy, creative guide to help you shoot the film. Each scene beat describes what the audience sees on screen, character movement/staging, the lighting vibe, and the dramatic purpose.
THE QUIET BEFORE THE LOOP
A sealed spacecraft observation module bathed in soft blue instrument light. Dr. Veer is bent over the control panel, Maya floats near center with her tablet, and Aman kicks gently against a seat frame. The starfield window fills one wall like a frozen ocean of stars.
Veer studies the panel with rigid focus, Maya watches both men with calm curiosity, and Aman fidgets restlessly, half-unzipped and defensive.
Cold, ghostly blue with floating dust motes visible in the light beams; sterile and suspended.
Establish the sealed environment, the trioโs power dynamics, and the feeling that time is already slightly off.
THE FIRST SMALL JOKE
The three characters in a tight conversational triangle, with the control panel glowing beside Veer and the tablet near Maya. The tea pouch is visible near the tablet, almost unnoticed.
Aman jokes about zero gravity and being emotionally unanchored; Veer stays clipped; Maya suppresses a smile and keeps the peace.
Soft, even blue with gentle facial shimmer; awkward but still human.
Let the audience relax just enough so the coming glitch feels sharper and more unsettling.
THE GLITCH AND THE DRIFT
A tiny beep, a flicker on the panel, then the tea pouch drifting upward in frame as the lights flare. Faces react in quick succession.
Veer notices the unstable readout, Aman points out the tea pouch, and Maya answers with a cryptic 'Human factor.'
A sudden pulse and flare from the panel, briefly brighter and more chaotic than the base lighting.
Introduce the motif and the first hint that the module is not behaving normally.
THE RESET
The exact same room setup returns, but Aman blinks in confusion and Mayaโs tablet now shows LOOP 02. The positions are familiar, yet the emotional temperature has changed.
Aman is disoriented, Veer freezes, and Maya realizes she remembers more than the others.
Same blue environment, but with a colder, more clinical edge due to the repetition.
Make the audience feel the loop physically by repeating the composition with altered reactions.
THE HIDDEN FILE
Maya turns the tablet toward them, revealing the hidden file 'SELECTION PROTOCOL - RECURSIVE MEMORY STRESS.' The control panel glows in the background like an accusation.
Maya becomes direct and precise, Veer is stunned by the hidden file, and Aman shifts from sarcasm to alarm.
Sharper contrast, with the tablet glow adding a colder, more surgical light source to faces.
Turn the mystery into a moral crisis and make the test feel institutional rather than accidental.
THE TEA POUCH TRUTH
Close-ups of Maya, then Aman, then Veer, with the tea pouch between them as Maya explains it was her anchor and that her mother made chai before important decisions.
Aman admits fear of being replaceable, Veer confesses his need for control, and Maya finally reveals her attachment and role as evaluator.
Still blue overall, but with slightly warmer skin tones and deeper emotional shadow detail.
Land the emotional reveal through confession, not exposition, and make the tea pouch feel like a human relic inside a machine.
- โ Keep Camera at Eye-Level: In small rooms or single locations, eye-level framing makes the audience feel trapped in the room with the characters.
- โ Reaction Shots are Gold: When a secret or punchline lands, hold the camera on the character listening to capture their silent shock.
- โ Audio Drives Emotion: Whispers, deep sighs, and awkward silences carry 60% of the dramatic tension.
