Set Design & Location Specs

Corporate interview room ko unnaturally sterile banana hai: bright white overhead lights, glass wall, one table, three chairs. Walls smooth aur almost reflective hon, taaki room mein warmth na lage. Table matte surface ka ho, with minimal clutter. Chairs formal aur slightly uncomfortable dikhein. Glass wall ke through vague reflections aur outside presence ka hint aaye, lekin koi extra action invent na ki jaaye. Spatial layers mein foreground table, midground characters, aur background glass wall ko use karke confinement feel create karna hai. Room ka echo subtle but noticeable ho, jaise har word room mein linger karta ho.

Lighting Schematics

1) Opening: bright white overhead practicals as flat, unforgiving top light; no cozy fill, hard shadows under eyes and nose. 2) Mid escalation: maintain white overheads but reduce perceived comfort with slightly deeper contrast and tighter exposure on faces, making skin and eyes harsher. 3) Climax: overhead white becomes almost oppressive; slight increase in intensity feel, with room edges falling away so the table and faces dominate the frame.

Sound Design & Foley

Room tone should be sterile, faint HVAC hum, subtle fluorescent buzz, and the soft echo of voices in a glass-walled space. Foley priorities: pen tapping, paper rustle, folder opening, checklist flip, water glass slide, and chair micro-squeaks. Dialogue should feel slightly too present, as if the room is amplifying every pause.

Micro-Budget Production Hacks

  • ✓ Single-room shoot ko advantage banao: one location, one table, three chairs, minimal dressing.
  • ✓ Overhead practicals ko existing office lights ke saath blend karo.
  • ✓ Glass wall reflections ke liye extra set build ki zarurat nahi; careful angle se tension mil jaayegi.
  • ✓ Coverage ko efficient rakhne ke liye master, two-shots, and tight inserts par focus karo.
  • ✓ Props ko multi-use rakho: folder hi ID, checklist, blank form, and badge reveal ka carrier ho.
  • ✓ Sound design se production value badhao—room tone aur pen taps ko clean record karo.
